Amy & The Rock Sisters

Amy has been studying music since she was eight years old. She was performing, writing and recording while living in Pittsburgh, PA including a stint on bass with The Cynics and Get Hip Records. Daughter, Nicole, began studying music at the age of three and performing at the age of eleven, and is also a songwriter. Nicole's father, David Granati, along with the Granati Brothers band (G-Force), has been recording and touring nationally since the 70's. Daughter, Jacquelyn, began studying music at a young age and performing at age eight. Consequently, the girls grew up playing music. Alison is Nicole's & Jacquelyn's cousin. She is a singer currently based in Nashville. The three girls grew up singing together. Rock sisters music is spreading the message of family, spirituality, health & nature through music & helping others. Rocksistersmusicgiving.org for profits to causes relevant to their mission. A portion of profits from the Sounds of Summit CD is given to the Friend of the Dillon Ranger District to benefit the national forest in Summit County which is being destroyed by the bark beetle blight. The Sounds of the Summit CD features 17 original songs by local musicians celebrating & supporting the unique & breaktaking beauty of Summit County, CO where we are so divinely inspired to live, play & create. In 2005, Amy had a tragic skiing accident which forced her to go deeper into her music and spirituality. Amy & the Rock Sisters' CD, Colorado Blue, was mainly written and recorded during Amy's time of convalescence. It features talented songwriting throughout by Amy, and sweet family harmonies. Amy and the girls share vocal duties singing lead and harmony, backed by tasteful instrumentation.
